Concept:
Did you ever enter an art gallery in order to experience something, let's say… fascinating?
Like Simpel marks the belly of Monica B. Lexow with this emblematic word, the installation propose the same action in another form.
Through the track of his dirty steps on the white wrapping paper installed all over the entire floor of the gallery, the visitor, slowly and unconsciously, mark that "word" which remain in a clean white plastic tape.
The "cultural space" reveals to the observer less distracted (and through his own presence) its ultimate meaning: FASCINATION.
